I am spending 1 month on the project in collaboration with some Indian co-workers. Reporter BAP: After a few days in India, how do you feel? Regarding the environment, the way of working, are there any differences between Vietnam and India? Mr. Dung: Well, basically, India is large so there are many IT companies. They are quite professional and competitive in the IT market. People here are very friendly and English is used as their second language in working places. They apply different working schemes depending on each country’s projects. For example, working for USA projects will last from 2 PM to 10 PM, and working for Japan projects is from 6 AM to 4 PM. More than that, the company provides a powerful workforce with many branches around the world such as the US, Middle East, Europe, Asian. It is autumn now so the weather is not too hot. However, curry is the most popular food here, and it is doesn’t suit my taste. I have to choose a hotel offering both Asian and Western cuisines. Traditional food is very spicy with a strong curry flavor. Moreover, I was told to drink water in the hotels or at workplaces, but not outside.
