Job Description:
- Research & Ideation: Study reference robot designs, propose ideas for frame structures that meet project requirements.
- 3D Design: Create 3D models of mechanical parts, robot frames, shells, circuit enclosures, and moving components.
- 3D Printing Optimization: Convert designs into printable files, ensuring feasibility for 3D printing (wall thickness, structural strength, minimal supports, etc.).
- Technical Collaboration: Work with the electronics team to measure board sizes, arrange screw holes, cable slots, and proper heat dissipation space inside the robot shell.
Job Requirements:
- University degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation, AI, Design, or related fields.
- Passion for robotics, automation, and simulation; strong research and hands-on mindset.
- Software Skills: Proficient in at least one 3D mechanical design software (e.g., Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Inventor, or Blender for mechanical design).
- 3D Printing Knowledge: Understanding of 3D printing technologies (FDM/SLA), slicing, and post-processing is a strong advantage.
- Basic Electronics Knowledge: Fundamental understanding of electronic components (circuits, batteries, servo/DC motors, sensors) to design accurate housing and avoid component interference.
- Mindset: Careful, detail-oriented, with modular and assembly-oriented thinking.
